POWELL, Wyo. - Three insurance continuing-education classes will be offered Wednesday, Oct. 12, by Northwest College’s Center for Training and Development (CTD) and Education in Pursuit LLC.
Classes run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at NWC’s CTD on the college’s West Campus in Powell.
The first session, The Ethics Puzzle, taught by Paula vonLindern, provides three hours of credit at a cost of $45 per person. The three-hour-long class begins at 8:30 a.m.
The two-credit class Understanding Claims Made meets from 12:30-2:30 p.m. It’s taught by Kay Ward. The cost is $30.
Workers Compensation—A Historical Perspective, taught by Sonja Guenther, is offered from 2:30-4:30 p.m. for two credits and a cost of $30.
Participants can save $10 by reserving a seat for all three classes at the reduced rate of $95.
The Wyoming Division of Insurance allows continuing-education credit in both property/casualty and life/health, regardless of the type of license an agent holds. In addition, Wyoming has no limit on the number of ethics credit hours.
