POWELL, Wyoming — Northwest College’s Johnson Fitness Center is temporarily closing for about two weeks starting May 21.

The closure is prompted by maintenance and cleaning needs, manager transition and a plan to upgrade access to the facility.

The popular fitness center will reopen Tuesday, June 2, for the start of Summer Session classes on campus.

Johnson Fitness Center, offering free weights, cardiovascular machines and more, is open to the public with membership fees. Memberships are available in the NWC Business Office in the Orendorff Building at the corner of Sixth and Cheyenne Streets.
