POWELL, Wyoming — Northwest College’s 2016 Juried Student Photo Show opens Tuesday, March 22, with an artists’ reception at 7 p.m. in SinClair Gallery.

The show is an annual event featuring work by students enrolled in the NWC Photographic Communication Program. It contains representative samples of the photography career options offered at Northwest, including photojournalism, portraiture, fashion photography, and product and advertising photography.

Woody Wooden, a former member of the Northwest College photography faculty, judged this year’s entries and will be at the opening reception to announce the winners of the NWC Trustees’ Purchase Awards. Students represented in the show will also be on hand to talk about their works.

The Juried Student Photo Show hangs through April 8.

SinClair Gallery, located in the Orendorff Building on the Northwest College campus in Powell, is open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Admission is free.
