POWELL, Wyo. - Ed Cook, an adjunct music instructor at Northwest College, is looking for guitarists, bass guitarists, drummers, keyboarders and vocalists for his two-week School of Rock Band.

Band members will meet from 3-5 p.m. Jan. 3, 4 and 7-11 to rehearse for a 7:30 p.m. concert Monday, Jan. 14, in the Nelson Performing Arts Center Auditorium.

“This is a college class that gives individual musicians the chance to know what it feels like to be in a rock band,” Cook said. “You can take the class for a grade or just audit it for fun. The only requirement is that musicians have at least two years of playing experience and be able to play a song from beginning to end.”

For more information, email or call Ed Cook at 307-272-1795.

The one-credit School of Rock course is one of several classes offered during NWC’s two-week intersession in early January.
