P O W E L L, W y o. - Middle School musicians are invited to compete for summer music camp scholarships during the Showalter Music Festival Saturday, Feb. 9, at Northwest College.
The deadline to enter is Wednesday, Jan. 9 (postmark).
The Showalter solo and ensemble festival is open to musicians in fifth through eighth grades for brass, woodwind, percussion, voice and piano performances. Entry fees are $8 for each solo or ensemble entry. Musicians who receive a superior rating during the festival are awarded a scholarship to the 2008 Yellowstone Summer Music Camp.
