P O W E L L,  W y o. - Folk musician Paul Christian will perform at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, in the 7th St. Grille of the DeWitt Student Center at Northwest College.

Inspired by the likes of Chris Isaak and his home state of Minnesota, Christian presents a repertoire of original music that stretches across folk, pop, indie and alternative classifications. He's been offered the chance to sell his music to celebrity singers like Randy Travis and Alan Jackson, but has steadfastly refused, choosing to interpret his music on his own.

Christian's performance in Powell is sponsored by the NWC Student Activities Board.

Admission is free.
