POWELL, Wyo. ─ The Northwest College Board of Trustees will hold its monthly meeting Monday, Aug. 8, in the Meeteetse School Cafeteria. The meeting begins at 4 p.m.

Action items on the meeting agenda include the quarterly budget and cash flow report, final 2015-16 budget adjustments and ratification of the board’s 2016-17 priorities as well as those for President Stefani Hicswa.

Discussion and informational items include an analysis of NWC’s intercollegiate athletics and the Higher Learning Commission’s September 2017 visit to the campus as part of the college’s continued accreditation efforts.

The public is invited to make comments at a 5 p.m. Citizens' Open Forum.

The Northwest College Board of Trustees travels once a year to Meeteetse to get better acquainted with the southern end of the college district and to give area residents a chance to inform trustees of Meeteetse-related issues.

In addition to Nada Larsen of Meeteetse, other NWC Board members are Paul Fees, John Housel and Mark Westerhold of Cody; and Carolyn Danko, Dustin Spomer and Mark Wurzel of Powell.
