Area residents are invited to travel with Northwest College to New York City for a week of Broadway performances, tourist destinations, sightseeing, shopping and more May 21-27, 2018.
The tour is organized by Fred Ebert, assistant professor of speech communications and communication division chairperson. Throughout this trip, participants are guided by Ebert on a weeklong excursion of the Big Apple’s theater scene.
The group’s schedule allots plenty of time for individual and small-group touring. Although the agenda varies from year to year based on the different interests of individual participants, previous tour groups have dined at the famed Ellen’s Stardust Diner on Times Square, visited the Empire State Building, Lincoln Center, Statue of Liberty, Radio City Music Hall, Rockefeller Center, Central Park, St. Patrick’s Cathedral and shopped on Fifth Avenue.
For those wishing to attend, a $500 deposit for the trip must be submitted to the NWC Business Office by Dec. 15, 2017. Following the payment deadline, registration forms without deposits will be released to a waiting list.
Total cost per person for the trip is $2,950, which covers airfare from Billings, Montana, lodging, five theater tickets, admission to several venues, Metro passes, transfers and transportation to and from Billings. Participants are responsible for class tuition and fees, meals, checked baggage and personal activities.
