POWELL, WYOMING – The Northwest College and Powell High School Choirs, under the direction of Eric Hagmann and Drew Murray, will again unite for their annual Vespers Christmas Concert on Wednesday, December 3, at the Powell Church of God. Due to its popularity, this year’s event will feature two separate concerts, allowing even more people to attend. The first begins at 5 p.m., the second begins at 7 p.m., and both are free.

Prelude music will be provided by pianist Dr. Michael Yenny before the combined choirs perform a selection of sacred and secular holiday pieces such as “Rise Up Shepherd and Follow”, “Do You Hear What I Hear?”, “The Holly and the Ivy”, and “Gesu Bambino”. Audience members will also be invited to add their voices to the music during a special sing-along portion of the event.
