NWC Board seeks new trustee

The Northwest College Board of Trustees invites applications from Meeteetse area residents interested in serving on the board.

Trustees will select an individual to fill the unexpired term (through November 2020) of Meeteetse trustee Nada Larsen, who will be resigning effective July 15.

Candidates must be residents of Park County School District 16 and be willing to attend regular and special meetings.

To apply, individuals should submit a one-page letter of application stating their qualifications and reasons for seeking the position; a resume and references are optional. Letters should be submitted to NWC Executive Secretary for the President and Board of Trustees Diana Gwynn at Diana.Gwynn@nwc.edu.

The deadline to submit letters is Wednesday, July 1, at 4 p.m. For more information or questions, call Gwynn at 307-754-6058.

Trustees will review and consider applications at their Monday, July 6, meeting.

Current trustees are Carolyn Danko, Dustin Spomer (president) and Mark Wurzel (vice president/secretary) of Powell; Luke Anderson (treasurer), John Housel and Bob Newsome of Cody; and Nada Larsen of Meeteetse.
