POWELL, Wyo. - The Northwest College Forensics Team found gold at both of its first tournament outings of the year.

The NWC team placed first at the Sept. 24-25 WY Not Invitational hosted by Laramie County Community College and at the Sept. 25-26 Warm Up Invitational hosted by Colorado College. Because the two were hosted together as a swing tournament in Cheyenne, Northwest picked up another gold as the highest finisher overall.

Team members hauled home over 60 individual awards from the three-day premiere competition. They are coached by Bob Becker, Fred Ebert, Duane Fish and Jeannie Hunt.

The NWC Forensics Team can be followed in the near future online. Individual placings and team results will be available on the website soon.

The team hits the road next on Oct.7 to participate in the Pioneer Trails Tournament at Casper College.
