POWELL, Wyo. - The Northwest Music Department presents its annual Honors Recital at noon, Friday, Feb. 8, in the Nelson Performing Arts Center Auditorium.
The most outstanding performances from the fall student juries are selected by music faculty to perform in this recital. The faculty believes it is important for all NWC music students to hear this level of performance from their peers.
The public is invited to enjoy the music as well.
The program features trombonist Jerry Stott of Green River; flutist Richelle Tewes of Buffalo; vocalists Rachel Willis of Basin, Michael Lechner of Freedom, Jess Preis of Greybull and Kasi Hessling of Hudson; trumpeter Lyman Gillen of Billings, Mont., and clarinetist Josalyn Hruska of Pownal, Vt.
Admission is free.
