Area residents are invited to meet Trapper Rodeo athletes and mingle with friends at the Northwest College Rodeo Team Winter Social Saturday, Feb. 2, at the Cody Auditorium.
The event begins with a 5:30 p.m. social hour, followed by a prime rib dinner catered by the Proud Cut at 6:30 p.m. A traditional auction and a silent auction gives those who attend an opportunity to bid on western artwork and other valuable items.
The purchase of each $60 ticket includes dinner for two and the chance to win $1,000 in the reverse draw.
Tickets are available at the door, or RSVP by contacting Becky Nose at 307-527-6728 or beckyn17@gmail.com. Single tickets cost $30.
After the fall season, the Trapper men’s team is leading the Big Sky region in first place; they are currently fifth in the nation with Caleb McMillan ranked first in the all-around.
In addition, the NWC Rodeo program will be inducted into the Montana Pro Rodeo Hall and Wall and Fame later this month.
This event is sponsored by the Northwest Rodeo Council in support of the NWC Rodeo Team. Funds raised throughout the evening are used to help underwrite the team’s travel costs, scholarships and education opportunities.
