P O W E L L,  W y o. - Trapper basketball fans won't miss a home game this season as long as they're watching NWC-TV. The student-produced college television station plans to air all the men's and women's home games beginning Wednesday, Jan. 7, when both teams take the court against Miles Community College.

The Trapper teams fill the screen again the following Saturday, Jan. 10, when they play the Central Wyoming College Rustlers, and on Thursday, Jan. 22, they'll see action against the Rams of Little Big Horn College. Wrestling fans can also watch their favorite Trappers during the Friday night matches of the Apodaca Dual Showdown on Jan. 30.

In addition to athletics, NWC-TV features newscasts, weather forecasts and an events calendar, as well as coverage of a variety of campus events. The exclusive live and prerecorded programming ranges from lectures given by guest speakers to coverage of  downtown events like the lighted Christmas parade. Programs are produced by students in the Northwest College webcasting practicum class.

Viewers can tune in to NWC-TV on cable channel 39 on the TCT West system in Big Horn County, on Bresnan channel 21 in Powell, Bresnan channel 17 in Cody and on the Web.
