Oct. 13 Choral Sampler features "greatest hits"

POWELL, Wyo. - When the Northwest College Choir and Studio Singers present their annual Choral Sampler Tuesday, Oct. 13, the Studio Singers will salute retiring faculty Mike Masterson with a "greatest hits" program. The evening gets underway at 7:30 p.m. in the Hinckley Library Amphitheater. Admission is free.

 REPERTOIRE:

  • Miles Davis classic, "So What" performed by the group three years ago
  • A ballad, "You Go to My Head" performed by Beach Front Property, a professional jazz choir, at the NWC Jazz Festival over 15 years ago
  • Conclude with a "great" arrangement of the pop/rock/jazz classic "Moondance" by Van Morrison.
