POWELL, Wyoming — Powell school children in third, fourth and fifth grades are invited to participate in a free Diversity Day from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, in the Yellowstone Building at Northwest College.

NWC Enactus Club members will entertain their young guests with a variety of get-up-and-move activities (lava game, kickball, red light green light, blanket game and more) and  free pizza.

Students in NWC’s Multicultural Club from Algeria, Mexico, Dominican Republic,  Turkmenistan and several other countries will share the costumes, traditions and languages of their native lands.

The goal of the event is to expose young children to different cultures in a fun and engaging way.

Enactus is an international organization that connects student, academic and business leaders through entrepreneurial-based projects that empower people to transform opportunities into real, sustainable progress for themselves and their communities.

No advance registration is needed to attend Diversity Day. For more information, email NWC Enactus member Alex Rumm.
