POWELL, WYOMING – Area residents are invited to attend a public meeting on Wednesday, March 26 to provide input on the next Northwest College Facilities Master Plan. The meeting will be held in the Yellowstone Building Conference Center from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.

State law requires NWC to update its Facilities Master Plan periodically, and the college has contracted with Evergreen Dwellings to create a plan to determine which projects should be prioritized over the next few years. Components of the plan include:

  • Building Improvement (major maintenance projects to repair or replace items that already exist in, or on a building for under $1.5 million)
  • Capital Renewal (modernizing mechanical systems for more than $1.5 million)
  • Capital Construction (new construction or major renovations exceeding $1.5 million)
  • Residence Life Housing (improvements to buildings used to house students)
  • Campus Grounds (landscaping, concrete, parking lots, and lighting on campus)

“A well-developed facilities master plan is more than just blueprints and a budget,” said NWC President Lisa Watson. “It’s a strategic vision that shapes the entire student experience, supports our academic programs and services, and guides a sustainable future for the college.”

Those unable to attend the public meeting in person are asked to consider submitting feedback online at nwc.edu/input. The deadline for submitting is April 4.
