POWELL, WYOMING – The schedule for the popular lunch series, “Wednesdays Around the World”, and weekly series, “What’s The Tea?” is set for the spring 2026 semester at Northwest College. The events are open to the entire community and take place in the NWC Student Center.

Wednesdays Around the World features traditional dishes from the home countries of NWC international students, which they prepare and serve in the dining hall during lunch. The cost is $10.99, or an NWC meal swipe for those on a college meal plan. Lunch is served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and access to all other normal dining amenities and options, including the soup and salad bar, is included.

A total of nine countries will be represented throughout the semester, with the complete schedule as follows.

  • February 4 – Honduras
  • February 11 – Italy
  • February 18 – Turkmenistan
  • February 25 – Brazil
  • March 4 – United States
  • March 18 – Japan
  • April 8 – England
  • April 15 – Colombia
  • April 22 – Japan
  • April 29 – Honduras

What’s The Tea? returns to the schedule on Monday, February 2, allowing visitors to sample a selection of teas from a variety of countries represented by NWC international students. The free weekly event is scheduled from 2 to 3 p.m. inside the front entrance of the student center.
