CODY, Wyo. - Payroll can be complex and confusing, but a Friday, May 1 QuickBooks - Payroll Simplified class is designed to that change that. The three-hour class begins at 1 p.m. in the Northwest College Cody Center for Training and Development.
Instructor Jan Kraft, a certified management accountant, will show participants how to set up employee payroll information and payroll schedules, practice writing and printing payroll checks and paying payroll taxes. She'll also explain how QuickBooks tracks tax liabilities and show how to resolve problems and issues related to payroll administration.
Kraft is an associate professor of accounting and business administration at Northwest College with a master's degree in accounting from the University of Wyoming.
Cost for the class $35, and registrations must be submitted by Tuesday, April 28. Only a couple open seats are left.
