POWELL, Wyo. - Northwest College trombone students will join the Big Horn Trombones in a Thursday, May 7, recital at 7:30 p.m. in the Nelson Performing Arts Center Auditorium.

The program features select solo performances by NWC trombone students Willy Parmer of Lovell, Spencer Nelson of Cody, Will Crompton of Evanston, and Adam Small of Loveland, Colo.  Also performing will be John Henderson of Greybull.

After flying solo, the five trombonists will get into formation for a joint rendition of "Suite fur vier Posaunen" by Kazimerz Serocki. The Big Horns Trombones will add their firepower in combined performances of "March of a Marionette," "Pill Dickles," "Piece for Six Trombones" and "Canzona for Eight Trombones."

The program is conducted by Richard Parmer, a Northwest adjunct trombone instructor. NWC Music Program Pianist Tim Schoessler will accompany.

Admission is free.
