P O W E L L, W y o. - Finding a Valentine's Day gift is made easier for area residents again this year, thanks to the Spanish Club at Northwest College.
The club offers its Valentine's Day Gift and Delivery Service to Powell and surrounding communities. For a nominal fee, club members will deliver a balloon, cookie or wrapped rose with a personalized gift card on Feb. 13 or 14. Orders must be placed before 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7.
Cost for a delivered Valentine's Day balloon and gift card is $6, a large decorated heart cookie and a gift card is $5; a wrapped rose with gift card goes for $7. Balloons and cards sentiments are available in both English and Spanish.
Deliveries will be made from 1-4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, and from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14. To make arrangements for a Valentine's Day gift delivery, e-mail Mary Ellen Ibarra Robinson , NWC assistant professor of Spanish, or call (307) 754-6430.
