P O W E L L, W y o. - Kristy Hansen is fairly new to Worland and to Northwest College, but she's the person to go to at the NWC Worland Center for answers about the college and its programs.

Hansen moved to Worland earlier this year and most recently worked at the Northern Wyoming Daily News. A Powell native, she and her husband, Dan, and their two children came to Worland from Spokane, Wash.

She staffs the NWC Worland Center from 3-7 p.m. Monday through Thursday. In addition to credit classes, academic advising and registration, Hansen can also answer questions about workforce training offered through the NWC Worland Center for Training and Development (CTD).

CTD classes coming up in October feature a variety of learning opportunities, including a Saturday, Oct. 6, afternoon training on digital photography. Other classes cover selling on eBay, starting your own business, computers and computer applications like QuickBooks, Word and Excel.

For more information about these and other services offered in Worland through Northwest College, e-mail Kristy Hansen or call (307) 347-8541.
