Future Bright For NWC Rodeo Teams
Though he was hoping for a little better finish for his men’s team, Northwest College head rodeo coach Del Nose said he was pleased overall with last week’s College National Finals Rodeo. The Trappers finished 15th in the nation out of 54 teams, and featured a runner-up in the men’s All-Around in Caleb McMillan.

NWC Cowboys 15th At National Finals
After winning the Big Sky Region by the slimmest of margins and qualifying six cowboys for the College National Finals Rodeo, the Northwest College men’s rodeo team didn’t quite live up to expectations in Casper last week. When the dust settled at the Casper Event Center after Saturday night’s finals, the Trappers had placed 15th out of 54 teams with 285 points.

NWC Drops To 11th At CNFR
After three days of competition at the College National Finals Rodeo in Casper, the Northwest College men’s rodeo team is sitting in 11th place. However, Trapper Caleb McMillan ranks first in the All-around with 195 points. He was being trailed by Colton Campbell of California State University-Fresno, who had 190 points as of Tuesday night.

NWC Ninth After One Day At CNFR
Day one of the College National Finals Rodeo is in the books, and Northwest College currently sits in ninth place in the team standings with 55 points. Panola Junior College is in first with 150 points, Panhandle State University is second with 145 points and Clarendon College rounds out the top three with 110 points.

Northwest Trappers Send Six Cowboys To CNFR
After a busy spring that saw the Northwest College men’s rodeo team win the Big Sky Region by the slimmest of margins over Montana State University, the Trappers have qualified six cowboys for the College National Finals Rodeo in Casper next week.
