Northwest unveils recruiting class
The success enjoyed last fall by the Northwest College volleyball program is paying dividends in the 2009 recruiting class. Trapper head coach Flavia Siqueira announced several new players coming to campus this fall.

Sub-Region Champions
Playing for the first time since making their initial appearance in the NJCAA's Division I volleyball poll, the Northwest College Lady Trappers secured a three-set sweep (25-21, 25-22, 25-12) against Miles Community College Saturday afternoon in Powell.

NWC Plans Send-Off For Lady Trappers
Jim Zeigler, athletic director at Northwest College, announced last Saturday that NWC will conduct a send-off celebration for the Lady Trapper volleyball squad prior to this week's Region IX North Tournament at Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne. The tournament is scheduled to begin Wednesday.

NWC goes undefeated at Colby Classic
Good fortunes continued for the Northwest College Lady Trappers last weekend, thanks to a 6-0 mark during the Colby (Kan.) Classic Tournament. NWC, now 14-5 for the season, went through the event without losing a set during any of their matches.
