Trappers Tailgate on Thursday

Celebration will Precede Game Against Casper

The Northwest College Trapper volleyball team is planning revenge on the Casper College Thunderbirds on Thursday, and they're inviting fans to a tailgate party before the game to share in the spirit-building fun.

Northwest and Casper are scheduled to tangle beginning at 7 p.m. in Cabre Gym, but the food and music will start outside at 6:15 p.m. The Trapper Booster Club will sell plates with a hot dog, chips and a cookie for $2. A volleyball net will be set up for fun play, and the music will be upbeat.

Northwest College art club students will help fans get in the spirit with $2 face painting, and a drawing will be held for a Trapper Booster Club lunch cooler. Fans can also buy a booster T-shirt and have an NWC athlete sign it before the game.

NWC head coach Flavia Siqueira and the members of the Trapper volleyball program will be sharing in the tailgate fun before heading inside to be all business. The team will be looking to avenge its loss to Casper in last year's Region IX North championship contest.

Admission to the game will be $3 for adults, $2 for students and free for seniors, children under 12 accompanied by an adult and NWC students with a valid student ID card.

The game, like all of the Trappers' home games, can be watched live at www.northwesttrail. org and on NWC-TV.
