Trappers break into top 20

New Poll Puts NWC at No. 20 

As if the team needed any more inspiration for tonight's (Thursday's) game against fellow Region IX foe Casper, the Northwest College Trapper volleyball program will carry the distinction of being a ranked team for the first time this season into that contest as well. 

In the poll released Wednesday morning by the NJCAA, the Northwest College Trappers debuted in 20th position. The team is currently 8-2 overall, with its only losses this season coming at the hands of No. 6 Salt Lake and No. 18 Laramie County. 

Two other Region IX schools - No. 4 Western Nebraska and No. 12 Northeastern - also appear in this week's top 20.
