It had been a rocky start to the 2018-19 season for the Northwest College women’s basketball team, which limped into Tuesday’s home opener against Rocky Mountain JV with an 0-5 record following a brutal road stretch of games.

The Northwest College basketball teams were on the road over the weekend, playing three games in three days against Williston State, Dawson Community College and Miles Community College.

Lady Trappers Open Hardwood Season 0-2
The Northwest College women’s basketball team opened its 2018-19 season on the road, going 0-2 at the Snow College Classic last weekend in Ephraim, Utah. The Lady Trappers opened the tournament against the host Snow College Lady Badgers Friday, losing 68-51. That was followed by a loss Saturday against Utah State Eastern 74-60.

New-Look Lady Trappers Take To The Hardwood
The Northwest College women’s basketball team had its best season in recent memory in 2017-18, finishing with a 25-8 record and coming up just short of the Region IX title game.
