Employee recruitment and retention challenges are common to all employers regardless
of the industry or type of organization and greatly impacted by the preferences of
the current working population. Whether you are a seasoned employer with many years
of hiring experience, or a small business hiring its first employee - the lessons
shared at this workshop will benefit all attendees.
PEP's Grants Manager draws on over ten years of program management and supervisory
experience including six years recruiting, placing and supervising 30 VISTA members
for PEP's AmeriCorps VISTA Program. Lean about the preferences of the current workforce
population, recommendations on how to recruit, onboard and train good employees, and
best practices that encourage employee retention.
