Career Ignite - Volunteer Recruitment

Are you in an organization, community group or business that utilizes volunteers?
This workshop provides the basics of volunteer recruitment and management to help
organizations thoughtfully recruit and place volunteers in meanighful roles.
Attendees will learn basic policy and procedure considerations; how to recruit volunteers;
how to engage and utilize volunteers for their skills, passions and abilities that
meet the organization's needs; types of volunteers and where to find them; training
volunteer hours; and volunteer recognition. Participants are provided tools, resources,
and will complete hands-on activities during the 2.5 hour workshop.
