NWC Wrestlers Take Third At Cowboy Open
The Northwest College wrestling team opened its season at the Cowboy Open in Laramie over the weekend, finishing third out of the 20 teams in its division. Three Trappers placed in a medal round.

Last year’s omission from the top 10 proved to be a fluke as the Northwest College wrestling team placed ninth at the NJCAA Wrestling Championships in Council Bluffs, Iowa, over the weekend.

The Northwest College wrestling team qualified six wrestlers for the NJCAA National Championships and placed fifth as a team at the West District Championships over the weekend.
