Cast Parlays NWC Opportunity into four-year deal
Make no mistake, Northwest College sophomore Keithen Cast made a calcualted gamble when he joined the Trappers out of high school in Broken Arrow, Okla. After all, he had turned away a few partial offers to wrestle at NCAA Division I wrestling programs.

Northwest College wrestlers on break for holiday
The eighth-ranked Northwest College Trapper wrestling team won one of three wrestling duals over the weekend to head into the holidays. Included in that count was a narrow three-point loss to rival North Idaho in the first half of the schools’ annual Moose Cup challenge.

Trapper wrestling rises to eighth
The Northwest College wrestling team rose from 12th into a tie for eighth place in the first update to the junior college wrestling rankings this season. Seven members of the Trappers’ roster are listed among the individual rankings.

Injuries continue to impact Northwest College wrestling
The Northwest College Trappers continue to fight their way through an injury- plagued start to the 2011-12 season. The team dropped a 27- 15 dual at Western Wyoming last week and also participated in the University of Northern Colorado Old Chicago tournament.

NWC Trappers fall in dual to Montana State-Northern
The Northwest College Trapper wrestling team fell 34-9 in dual action to Montana State-Northern on Wednesday. The dual was the first of the young season for the Trappers.
