Northwest College's wrestling team rebounded from a disappointing loss in their first dual of the season by claiming a 31-21 win over Montana State University-Northern last Thursday night in Hank Cabre Gymnasium.

Trapper Wrestlers Suffer 24-21 Setback to WWCC
The Northwest College wrestling team, competing in its first dual match of the 2007-08 season, suffered a 24-21 loss to Western Wyoming Community College last Thursday in Rock Springs.

When Northwest College wrestling coach Jim Zeigler talks about his current squad, he has plenty of good things to say. There's an abundance of talent on this year's roster, and after the Trappers' solid effort on the mats at the NWC Open in Powell last Saturday, the 2007-08 season appears to hold plenty of promise.

The Northwest College wrestling team got its first test of the season Saturday at the annual NWC Open in Powell, and the Trappers had a number of grapplers earn solid finishes during the event.

NWC Boasts Mix of Experience, Youth
The Northwest College wrestling team will kick off its 2007- 08 season Saturday with the annual NWC Open at Hank Cabre Gymnasium in Powell. And when the Trappers step onto the mats this weekend, they will do so with high expectations, according to NWC head coach Jim Zeigler.
