Trappers sixth in first NJCAA poll

Six Wrestlers in Weight-Class Ratings

The Northwest College Trappers are ranked sixth in the preseason NJCAA wrestling poll. The rankings were released late last week as junior college wrestling season fired up across the nation. 

Six NWC grapplers were named as among the top 12 individuals nationally in their weight divisions. Headlining that group is defending NJCAA runner-up Landon Harris, who earned the No. 1 seed among heavyweights nationally. 

McCade Ford, Saul Guerrero and Briston Brenton were also ranked among the top five for Northwest College. Tony Wood and Nick Petersen also appear in the season's first set of rankings.
