A night filled with emotion in Cabre Gym honored the memory of Brooks Apodaca on Friday night, with sophomore heavyweight wrestler Cody Pinkerton becoming the 24th member to receive the award named for the former Trapper wrestler.

NWC Men Strong In Region IX Home Openers
Opening up the home conference schedule the Northwest College men’s basketball team was busy this week, finishing 2-1 against Region IX opponents in Cabre Gym. Northwest defeated Eastern Wyoming College 87-65 Thursday, lost 92-75 to Laramie County Community College on Saturday before rebounding and defeating Central Wyoming College 106-79 on Tuesday night..

NWC Women Fall On Road Trip
One of the toughest road trips started the conference season, with comeback efforts coming up short for the Northwest College women’s basketball team, falling to Western Wyoming 78-55 and Casper College 84-65 on Friday and Saturday.
