Apodaca Duals Commence Friday
Nearly three months competing away from home will come to an end for the Northwest College wrestling team, as they host the Apodaca Duals on Friday and Saturday. That will be the first action after returning home from the NJCAA Coaches Duals on Jan. 12 and 13 in Miami, Oklahoma, where the Trappers had strong individual performances but finished 1-3 in duals.

Trapper Men Come Up Short In Region Openers
The Northwest College men’s basketball team fell short in two road contests on the opening weekend of Region IX, falling by 15 in both games in Rock Springs and Casper. The Trappers fell 94-79 to Western Wyoming and 89-74 to Casper College to start Region IX North play 0-2.

Strong Third Quarter Paces Trapper Women
A dominant 29-9 third quarter helped the Northwest College women’s basketball team separate from the visiting Rocky Mountain JV, leading to a 78-56 win for the Trappers in the final non-conference game of the season.

A season that started 0-6 for the Northwest College men’s basketball team has rebounded to a 9-9 record after non-conference play. The Trappers held off a Rocky Mountain JV rally on Friday to win 93-85 before a dominant start helped Northwest cruise against Jump Start Academy 93-68.

Trapper Wrestling Heads To NJCAA Duals
After more than a month away from competition the Northwest College wrestling team will hit the mat this weekend, heading to Miami, Oklahoma, to take part in the NJCAA Coaches Duals on Friday and Saturday.
