Northwest College is committed to the success of its students by providing an environment conducive to teaching and learning. To ensure that every student takes full advantage of the educational opportunities and do not come across barriers, NWC has implemented the NWC Cares program. The goal of the Cares program is to improve students' persistence and promote the development of cognitive and affective skills. This program allows faculty & staff to be proactive, supportive, and involved in facilitating the academic components of student retention through early detection and intervention of students who are experiencing problems that affect their academic performance.
