POWELL, WYOMING – The Northwest College Alumni Association is accepting nominations for the prestigious 2026 Distinguished Alumni Award. Applications submitted by Friday, February 20, will be reviewed in March, with the selected recipient honored during NWC’s commencement exercises on May 9.

Presented since 1981, the Distinguished Alumni Award recognizes alumni who have demonstrated academic achievement beyond Northwest College, have distinguished performance in their career, and outstanding service to their community. Nominees must demonstrate integrity while reflecting the impact NWC has played in their life.

Recent honorees include:

2025: Jennifer DeWitt Walsh, Frankfurt, Germany
2024: Lindsay Linton Buk, Jackson, WY
2023: Candy Moulton, Encampment, WY
2022: Sarah Anderson, Ten Sleep, WY
2021: Curtis Clabaugh, Cheyenne, WY

Nominations are open to the public, allowing anyone to recognize and celebrate deserving individuals. Submissions are accepted exclusively through the online nomination form at nwc.edu/foundation/alumni/distinguished-alumni. Nominees must meet specific eligibility criteria, and nominators are encouraged to review the forms thoroughly.
