HVAC Apprenticeship Program

Opportunities in heating, air-conditioning and refrigeration repair and installation are good, especially for those who have formal training, be it through a technical school or as an apprentice.

The HVAC Apprenticeship Program at NWC CTD is a four year program that will take you from the basics to being prepared to take the Journeyman's test. You will learn from industry experts in the classroom in conjunction with employment in the HVAC field for on-the-job training while earning a living. The schooling teaches the how's and why's of refrigeration as applied to air conditioning theory, electrical theory, motors and basic electrical controls, code requirements, installation methods, and much more!

HVAC Technicians are trained to work with heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration systems in both residential and commercial settings..
