Northwest Trapper women successfully start Region IX play
The Northwest College women’s basketball team split its first games in Region IX North play this past week, defeating Central Wyoming 67- 55 at home last Wednesday before falling 73-54 at Sheridan College on Saturday.

Trapper women remain mired at .500
The Northwest College women’s basketball team split games over the weekend at the Gillette College tournament. The Trappers fell 72-54 to Snow College on Friday, then recovered for a 62-49 win over Eastern Wyoming on Saturday.

Trapper women upset Salt Lake
The Northwest College Trapper women’s basketball team survived nearly three scoreless minutes at the close of Saturday’s game against No. 12 Salt Lake Community College, but managed to hold on for a 60-59 victory. The win, combined with an earlier tournament loss to Utah State- Eastern, leaves the Trapper ladies with a 4-4 record for the season.

Trappers edge Williston
Andressa Augusto calmly sank a pair of free throws with seconds remaining Friday night to help the Northwest College Trappers avenge an earlier loss to Williston State College, 65-64. The Trappers also defeated the Northwest All- Stars 67-19 over the weekend.

Rough weekend for Trapper women
The Northwest College women’s basketball team suffered a pair of weekend losses at the Williston State College tournament. The Trappers fell 86-61 to nationally ranked North Idaho. The team also dropped a 79-63 decision to the host Tetons.
