“Outreach” is a familiar term for non-profit organizations, government agencies, and for-profit businesses alike. But what does Outreach really mean, and what does it take to conduct Outreach in rural places like Wyoming?

Workshop participants learn the relationship and differences between marketing and outreach; skills of outreach workers; planning and executing outreach; and effective outreach strategies. Participants interact with other professionals from different backgrounds and acquire templates and tools applicable to any outreach setting.
