Northwest splits Montana wrestling duals
The fourth-ranked Northwest College Trappers split a pair of wrestling duals in Montana last week, defeating Montana State University-Northern on Thursday. On Saturday, the team fell by a 29-9 count to the University of Great Falls.

Trapper wrestling wins two in Kansas
The fifth-ranked Northwest College Trapper wrestling team captured two out of three duals last weekend during a Kansas road trip. The Trappers scored wins of 29-18 over Neosho County and 24-21 over No. 15 Pratt, but came out on the short side of a 28-15 dual at No. 4 Labette to begin the week.

A pair of dual losses heading into the holiday break appears not to have fazed the Northwest College Trappers in the eyes of the nation's pollsters. NWC remains entrenched at No. 5 in the latest NJCAA wrestling hierarchy.

Trapper wrestling drops duals
After having the date circled on his calendar for a number of weeks, Northwest College wrestling coach Jim Zeigler was left wondering what could have been as his fifth-ranked Trappers dropped a 29- 11 dual to No. 4 North Idaho over the weekend.

NWC wrestlers crown two champs
Heavyweight Landon Harris and 174-pounder Nick Petersen took different routes on Saturday, but both wound up at the same destination. The pair of Northwest College wrestlers each won the championship of their respective weight divisions and were part of a larger haul of five Trappers to finish among the top four at the University of Great Falls.
