Trapper wrestling season begins Saturday
Northwest College's wrestling team will embark on its 2008-09 slate Saturday with its annual NWC Open at Hank Cabre Gymnasium in Powell.

Mak Jones, a standout wrestler at Powell High School, quickly ended speculation as to where he will continue his wrestling career by signing a letter of intent with Northwest College Tuesday afternoon.

NWC 2-1 In Showdown
Northwest College conducted the 10th annual Apodaca Dual Showdown last Friday and Saturday, and the Trappers enjoyed a memorable weekend by posting a 2-1 mark against some of the top junior college teams in the country.
