4. October 2021 Panel Discussion: Rebranding/Renaming

October 13, 2021

Area residents were invited to attend a Learning & Discovery Panel Discussion about rebranding and renaming and its use in business and higher education on campus and on Zoom. Comments followed the Q&A session. Additional comments could be submitted through October 22.

5. Board of Trustees work session to discuss finalizing the focus of the Institutional Transformation

February 14, 2022

Interim President Lisa Watson submitted a memo to the NWC Board of Trustees summarizing the collective efforts of the 2020-2022 Institutional Transformation project, including the campus and community response, the project outcomes, a funding plan and a motion to consider four specific actions the Board could support to conclude the project and give the go ahead for operationalizing the strategy.

New business of the February 14 meeting agenda (VII.E.) includes consideration of the motions requested within the memo.

Note:
the Board later voted 4-3 to accept the motions within the revised memo, thus ending Phase 3 of the Institutional Transformation exploratory work and signaling the beginning of putting the transformation ideas into action.
