It’s important to note that issuing a news release does not always ensure coverage by area media outlets. Sometimes, the best option for promoting information is an announcement, calendar entry or NWC’s social media platforms.
Please give at least three weeks’ notice before your event. News releases are typically disseminated two weeks before the event date.
Generally, NWC news releases are sent to Big Horn Basin print and radio outlets, plus some Montana media outlets as necessary. Releases are added to the NWC News Desk, and then posted to Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
