When Northwest College employees were asked to share their thoughts for the Climate Survey for Community Colleges and Great Colleges to Work For survey submission, here is what they shared:
I think that the Northwest College campus is a wonderful starting place for anyone beginning their college journey or continuing it. I wholeheartedly believe in this institution. I believe that my department works together as a team to deliver the best experience to an incoming student. My supervisor trusts me and my judgment.
NWC is always pushing to be better - whether by improving our processes to meet the needs of students or enhancing our technology and services.
We are small enough to give students individual resources. And in a great location.
The faculty and staff on this campus are amazing. They always put students first and are clearly dedicated to serving students to the best of their ability.
The institution is very student-centered and has excellent cooperation among departments.
This institution has been through so tough times in my short time here. The one thing I am very proud of us is, even though we have taken substantial budget cuts we have not lost our focus on making it all about the student experience. I feel all departments, faculty and staff care for and work hard to stay student centered.
This place has so many great employees and is a community that takes care of its students and each other. The work we do is important and makes a positive impact on our students, community and employees. We have been through so much together (the three most recent cuts and pandemic) and have demonstrated our resilience.
We are student centered and work to better our students in many ways.
We are truly student centered and want to give them the best education we can.
