Trappers win one in Apodaca Duals
The seventh-ranked Northwest College wrestling team completed a season sweep of Western Wyoming, but came up short against a pair of nationally ranked foes over the weekend. The Trappers fell to No. 12 Iowa Lakes and No. 3 North Idaho in their final regular-season action.

The seventh-ranked Northwest College Trappers were left licking their wounds following a pair of lopsided wrestling defeats last weekend. Northwest lost 33-3 at Montana State University- Northern and 30-10 to the University of Great Falls.

The seventh-ranked Northwest College wrestling team capitalized on a pair of open weight classes to score a 25-21 victory over the University of Great Falls in wrestling dual action. The event was Northwest’s final home dual prior to the Apodaca Duals later this month.

Northwest Trappers drop to seventh nationally
The Northwest College Trappers slid one spot in the latest NJCAA wrestling rankings released late last week. After appearing as the No. 6 team in December’s rankings, the Trappers are now part of a three-way tie at No. 7 in the poll.
